  1. What are you most proud of and why? I am most proud of that I showed in my movie how I knew and the things that were required.
  1. What challenged you the most and why? The thing that challenged me most was that explaining the goal.
  1. Next time, what is a goal you can work towards? Don't rub the speaker while talking so it does not make background sounds that cover my voice.

Solving Problems with our 5 and 10s

W.A.L.T: To solve our multiplication problems with our 5s and 10s.
We had a task to use anything to show a math sample here it is.
We were learning to do the double and half strategy. Sophie and I have done 16x5=80 because half of 16 is 8 then double 5 which is 10. So then 10x8=80. That means 16x5=80

                                                     Feed Back:
Great job Grace I can really see what you are trying to teach other people,
I think lots of people will now know that great work keep it up.

                                                Feed Back:
Great job Grace I can really tell what you are trying to teach other kids this strategy.
I think lots of people will know that you have explained. Well done.

Home Maths

I decided I would do some maths at home. My Dad has taught me this maths take away game. Here is a picture of what I have done. What you have to do is ask your mum or dad to write down some numbers. Then go and take away the smallest number like for an exsample. 59-20=39 and then write the number in the middle. Then do the same for all of it. Has your brain gone up one step and improved your take aways then thats really good keep doing it. You will become awesome at you take aways.Hope this activety helps you with your take aways!

How to set it up: Draw a square and write some numbers on the 4 points. Then when you have done all of them then you can draw a diamond do that again and again till you get to zero.

Broken Calculator

W.A.L.T: Use appropriate strategies to solve problems. Here is what I did with Amy the Broken Calculator. It was fun we worked together to find a way to minus and times the numbers to equal the number. Here is my evidence of learning.

Statistics

W.A.L.T: calculate the mean, median, mode and range of a set of data
Today we did statistics it was really fun but hard at the same time here is a picture of my working out.

Mean: 65+69+70+65+44+72 divided by 6=325.   Wrong x
Median: What is the most popular number. The number between 70 and 65=67     Right (:
Mode: 65 is the most popular because the score is written down 2 times.         Right (:
Range:?

Article

This is the article I chosehttp://www.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kiwikidsnews.co.nz%2F57-million-children-school&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNEhRJcLpEWIACviX8uL5yX-y5mZog
I agree because they should defiantly be able aloud to go to school. The negative is that they have not enough money. There is a negative that some can afford to go to school.
