Writing Sample

  • use a range of verbs (evaporate, melt, etc.)
  • use a variety of specific vocabulary (matter, solid, liquid, gas)
  • add significant detail to describe each part (examples, diagram, giff)
  • vary sentence starters
  • organise my ideas into at least 5 paragraphs

    I think I did well I met up to the standered because I did all the things that I had to do like put a image my draft and my published piece.

  1. Well done Grace, you have written a very good piece of writing. You have included a range of subject specific vocabulary - well done.

    Next time, you need to spend a bit longer crafting and re-crafting as there are some errors in there. Also, when informing others we need to structure our sentences so we inform. So instead of "Yesterday we did an experiment" you could say: "Try this experiment at home..."

    Do you see the difference? We'll talk more about it in class...
